Walnut is the Bach flower for those who tend to be influenced by the beliefs of others or external events and therefore need protection.

By nature, Walnut is very sensitive, even though they have well-defined ambitions and ideals. We can say that Sensitivity is their innate resource. However, this characteristic makes them particularly susceptible to strong opinions and destabilising events. This can lead the Walnut type to lose their constancy.

Walnut therefore invites us to develop the virtue of Freedom, which is the ability to pursue one's goals with perseverance while feeling protected from outside influences. In fact, what makes Walnut functional is not just hypersensitivity, but the ability to freely express and pursue ideals, while showing the talent to be sensitive to the opinions of others and to external events.
