Gorse is the Bach Flower for those who are in a state of despair and think it is useless to try to make things better.

By nature, Gorse is prone to giving up, as he has no expectations of improving his condition. Therefore, they are open to new proposals (therapies or projects) from others. We can say that Welcoming is their innate resource. However, this attitude originates from a lack of hope and from the intention to obey, or to please, those who propose new possibilities for improvement.

Gorse therefore invites us to develop the virtue of Hope, that is, the capacity to see, with confidence, beyond the current situation and its gravity, a possibility of evolution. It could even be just the maturation of a different attitude towards life and a different perspective aimed at one's resources rather than one's shortcomings. What makes Gorse functional is the ability to detect even the slightest light of hope, welcoming all the new and unexplored paths that life places before us.
