Agrimony is the Bach Flower for those who hide their torments behind a mask of cheerfulness.

By nature, Agrimony is inclined to create harmony in relationships because it is a "comrade-in-arms" who is always smiling. We can say that Harmony is their innate resource. However, this attitude originates from the conviction that to be loved by others, it is necessary to hide one's problems, worries and avoid conflicts. This can lead the Agrimony type to states of anxiety with difficulty in falling asleep, bruxism and a tendency to light or heavy addictions (food, alcohol, smoking, shopping, television, gambling, drugs...) aimed at relieving tension and unexpressed torment.

Agrimony therefore invites us to develop the virtue of Openness, which is the ability to show oneself to others in one's shadows as well as in one's lights, the former being nothing else than the projection of the latter. In fact, what makes Agrimony functional is not just the absence of worries, but the ability to open up, showing a talent for harmonising one’s limits with one’s resources and downplaying difficulties despite recognizing their value.
