Olive is the Bach Flower for those who, having experienced prolonged physical or mental suffering, feel tired and exhausted, even in normal daily activities.

By nature, the Olive state leads to a search for lost energy. We can say that Rest is its innate resource. However, this search is likely to be fruitless if the Olive type does not recognise the need for a real replenishment of their strength.

Olive therefore invites us to develop the virtue of Regeneration, which is the ability to transform one's energies as well as recover them. In fact, what makes Olive truly capable of expressing one’s own potential is not just the tendency to rest, but the ability to recognize in a state of exhaustion the need to pause for a moment to regenerate and redirect our being.
