Chestnut bud is the Bach flower for those who do not learn easily from their own experience, or from observing the experience of others, and tend to repeat the same mistakes.

By nature, Chestnut Bud is inclined to act independently from past experiences. We can say that Spontaneity is its innate resource. However, this quality originates from the tendency to ignore the events that the Chestnut Bud experiences and the inability to learn from them.

Chestnut bud therefore invites us to develop the virtue of Learning, which is the ability to grasp, from one's own experience and from the observation of that of others, a meaning with respect to one's own path, integrating the perceptions of each event into a unity full of meaning.
