Vine is the Bach flower for people who are aware of their own abilities and confident in their ability to succeed. Vine is characteristically very confident and convinced of their own ability to lead others. We can say that Charisma is their innate resource. However, this attitude originates from an unconscious insecurity and the desire to make one's own point of view prevail by imposing one's own will. This can lead the Vine type to become despotic in their behaviour towards others who, they feel, need their strict guidance.

Vine therefore invites us to develop the virtue of Service, which is the quality of expressing one's leadership and guidance skills in a charismatic way, offering them to others when they are most needed (e.g. Vine is very helpful and reassuring in emergency situations). In fact, what makes Vine functional is not just the authoritarian and confident display, but the ability to put oneselves at the service of others in an authoritative and charismatic way.
